International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day

It seems fitting to announce this on International Women’s Day, a day that tries to help us all forge a more gender-balanced world, celebrate women’s achievements, and raise awareness against bias.

WriteSource Medical Pty Ltd is thrilled to announce we were Certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by WEConnect International in October 2018.

This important certification allows us to connect with global multinational corporations that are committed to global supplier diversity and inclusion.  You can read more about WEConnect International on their website (https://weconnectinternational.org/en/about-us/who-we-are).

Did you know that there are more than 224 million women entrepreneurs worldwide? [1]  In Australia, while most women perceive they have capabilities for entrepreneurship, they still do not necessarily believe they have the capabilities to start and run a business [1].

By buying from a woman-owned business you contribute to the economic empowerment of women globally. Investing in women can lead to a significant boost in economic growth, and the flow-on effect is that communities surrounding the woman-owned businesses will thrive [2].

WriteSource Medical Pty Ltd is 100% woman-owned and has been successfully running since late 2009.  We welcome the certification from WEConnect and look forward to forging new partnerships with multinational corporations into the future.
